What are the benefits of joining Division 19?

Division 19 members (all catagories) receive our quarterly journal, Military Psychology, and our biannual newsletter, The Military Psychologist. In addition membership in the Division entitles you to vote on Division 19 matters and propose Division 19 papers, workshops, and synopsis for presentation at APA conventions. Another benefit is our diversity. Division 19 is about equally divided between clinical and research pyschologists, guaranteeing a stimulating enchange of ideas and perspectives in our journals and conference sessions. Our small size (around 400 members) is also an advantage if you are looking for camaraderie and easy access to colleagues who share your research and/or practice interests. In short, we are a small, friendly, energized division, and we would love to have you join us.

How can I join Division 19?

There are four catagories of membership in the Division:

1) APA members / associates / fellows

.

2) Dues exempt members (dues exempt APA members)

.

3) Affiliates (non APA members)

.

4) Student affiliates (APA student affiliates or not)

.

APA members, associates, and fellows are accepted as Division 19 members for $27.00. Long term, dues exempt APA members can become a Division 19 dues exempt member for $19.00 by paying to cover publication printing and mailing costs. Individuals who are not APA members (this includes APA student affiliates) may become Division 19 Afiliates for $30.00, International Affiliates for $30.00, or Student Affiliates for $10.00.
