“Care To Military Caregivers: From Fatigue To Hope & Resiliency,” led by D. Thomas Stone, Jr. Ph.D., CGP, FAGPA and Richard Beck, RCSW, BCD, CGP, FAGPA, 2-day Institute, Tuesday and Wednesday, February 23&24
This 2-day institute is designed to support those who work with this challenging population and will include self-care techniques and supportive process.

“Til Trauma do Us Part: Helping Couples Heal in the aftermath of Trauma and Combat Stress,” co-led by Dianne Kane, D.S.W., CGP and Suzanne Phillips, Psy.D., ABPP, CGP, FAGPA. Half-day workshop, Thursday, February 25, 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM
This workshop addresses the role of a couple’s relationship in the recovery to trauma

“Military Mental Health – Treatment Challenges in a Unique Environment” presented by Capt. Paul Hammer, M.D. and CAPT Edward Simmer, MD, MPH, CGP, USN, half-day open session, Thursday, February 25, 2:30 – 5:00 PM
This session, led by two military clinicians, will provide an overview of the unique stressors and challenges in the military, providing clinicians with much needed information to address the special needs of this population

“Group Therapy Application for Returning Veterans” co-led by Melissa Wattenberg Ph.D., Barbara Niles, Ph.D., David Foy, Ph.D., Shirley Glynn, Ph.D. and William Unger, Ph.D., full-day workshop, Friday, February 26, 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
This workshop, led by nationally recognized experts, will detail manualized, evidence-based treatments all developed specifically for the unique military population and delivered in group.

“Using Groups for Trauma Intervention” co-chaired by Robert Klein, Ph.D., ABPP, CGP, DLFAGPA and Suzanne Phillips, Psy.D., ABPP, CGP, FAGPA, two-day course, Friday and Saturday, February 26&27
This course provides in-depth training on the multiple emotional impacts of trauma, as well as a series of group intervention strategies and protocols designed to address the needs of particular populations, e.g., adults, children, organizations, military.
